Join community artists Eloise and Alice Wall as they take you into the world of Mermaids with tales of under the sea, harp playing and interactive fun. Join them in the mermaid grotto in the Shipyard Market once the other mermaids have gone back to the water – learn how to draw what you see and go home with a masterpiece of a mermaid!
We have 10 places on this workshop – plus one parent per child can come too (book a place per child). Art is all about community and being creative together! All materials included.
A great lunchtime activity before the mermaids go for a swim at 2pm!

About your hosts:
Alice Wall runs nature connects sessions for adults and has in the past run an outdoor playgroup. She is a forager and Knower of plants and nature. She has been a fine art painter and sculptor and also teaches and plays her harp.
Eloise is a figurative painter. She is all about people and their environments. She loves organising madcap fun creative sessions like this one. You can also join her on weekly drink and draw sessions, famous portrait lifedrawing sessions, and plein air meditative painting sessions. All of which are expanding aspects of what she does. The rest of the time shes a solitary painter found sitting with paints in gardens mostly and then selling my creations.
