Purpose 3D present digital 3D historical Cornish clothing

Purpose 3D (based in Porthleven) are specialists in producing digital 3D models of historical clothing, helping museums and collections to display and showcase their models and then reformatting and selling the models for commercial usage and digital download. For their exhibition during the Porthleven Arts Festival, they will be teaming up with their partners the Museum of Cornish Life (Helston) and the Fashion and Textile institute (Falmouth University) to provide an interactive experience hosted by the amazing Atlantic Inn. A QR code treasure hunt will lead up to the Atlantic from the Harbour, enabling you to view Cornish clothing models as you stroll up the hill. Visitors to the exhibition can:

• View a collection of 100+ models taken from Cornish Museums, including some interactive screens to explore the world of digital 3D models
• Experience a live capture rig, capturing some traditional Cornish costume and storing it to the collection.
• Bring along your own historic and significant clothing and consult the experts who will offer a professional eye and detail in an “Antique Roadshow” style, with professional images taken for you to keep
